Terry’s Picks for September 2020

An example is the performance by comedienne Chonda Pierce set for last March at Fair Haven Church in Hudsonville. It was postponed and rescheduled for September at the same venue. Here are a couple of September dates that remain on the books as of the first of the month.
*Worship Service & Hymn Sing" – Sacred music talent from around the area is on the program at 2:30pm Sun. Sept. 13 at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW in Wyoming. Among the featured artists: Steve Maas, pianist; Janet Bartman, organist; David Ellis on trumpet and David Bartman, trombone. Also, there is music on the accordion from Marcia Seinen. Rev. Eildert Zwart and Pastor Harry Koops are also participating. Special musical prelude begins at 2:15pm. There is no admission charge, a love offering will be received.
* Unity Family Night – Drive in Movie Concert – A showing of a video-concert specially recorded for the Unity Christian Music family on two consecutive nights – 8:20pm Fri. and Sat Sept. 18-19 on the grounds of Country Dairy, 3476 S. 80th Ave. New Era, MI. Featured are Zach Williams, We The Kingdom, Caitie Hurst, Jamie Kimmett and hosted by singer-songwriter Matthew West, who also performs. General admission is $80 per car (limit of six people), $20 extra for VIP package. Limit on vehicle size; concert audio will be broadcast on FM radio frequency. (Wear mask when outside of vehicles).
