Major Fall Concerts Already Scheduled
Singer-songwriters Zach Williams (Sept. 18) and Tauren Wells (Oct. 23) are coming to DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids.
The country-style Williams has proven to be a popular concert and Christian radio attraction, and performed last fall in the Mercy Health Center in Muskegon. In 2020 he won a Dove Award as Artist/Songwriter of the year. His best-known songs include "Chain Breaker" and "Rescue Story."
His duet with singer Dolly Parton ("There Was Jesus"), garnered him mainstream attention and more than 30 million video views (see it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37wV6D49iEY&t=1s).
Tickets for Williams Sept. 18 concert start at $19 (ticket info below).
Meanwhile, Tauren Wells came to Michigan last fall for a concert at Kentwood Community Church. He returns this October with his "Joy in the Morning" tour, the title of his forthcoming album releasing this month.
Wells, a Battle Creek-area native, also performed in Michigan last year at the Big Ticket Festival in Gaylord. He has several Dove Awards in connection with his anthem "Famous For (I Believe)."
Wells' latest song, "Fake It," rose to the top of the Christian Hit Radio charts earlier this spring and also has garnered him some mainstream publicity.
Tickets for his Oct. 23 DeVos Hall concert start at $25. Also on the bill are Aaron Cole and Lakewood Music.
Tickets for both concerts can be purchased at https://www.devosperformancehall.com/events/concerts--shows and also are available at the DeVos Place box office.
