Upcoming Christian Concerts Offer Wide Variety

We The Kingdom 2022West Michigan’s concert schedule for the remainder of 2022 offers a full range of national music artists heading to the area. And already there’s a bevy of Christmas concerts lined up for the holiday season.

Here are a few of the offerings:

*It’s a bit of a homecoming for singer-songwriter Cory Asbury (“Reckless Love”) when he and We the Kingdom come at 7pm Oct. 30 to the Wings Event Center, on Van Rick Dr. in Kalamazoo. Asbury is a former worship leader at the Kalamazoo-area Radiant Church. We the Kingdom is the award-winning band with songs such as “Holy Water” and “Left It In the Water.” (Watch the introductory tour video online). Tickets begin at $28 and are available online

*The pop-worship band I Am They with special guest Jonathan Traylor come Sat. Nov. 12 to Friends
Church, 1305 Olive St. in Battle Creek. This marks the final tour for I Am They, as they are bringing the
band to a close. General admission tickets are $20, available online https://www.itickets.com
HOLIDAY FARE

*Singer-songwriter Mark Schultz, the trio Point of Grace and singer Andrew Greer present the music of
Christmas at 7pm Dec. 8 at Community Reformed Church 10376 Felch St. in Zeeland. General admission
tickets are $20, VIP passes also available online.

*The Grammy-winning For King and Country, featuring brothers Luke and Joel Smallbone, head a
Christmas concert at 7pm Dec. 17 at Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids. Tickets start at $29;
available online.

*Hark Up Christmas – The annual collaboration of hundreds of area music and dance artists returns for
five performances Dec. 2-4 at DeVos Center for Arts &  Worship at GR Christian High School. Tickets go
on sale Oct. 17, available online or box office at 616-574-5600.

*Sandi Patty – The stellar soprano presents “Christmas Blessings” with the Grand Rapids Symphony Dec.
22 at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids. Tickets begin at $25 and available online.


AND A LOOK TO 2023

*Already announced is a giant TobyMac tour with special guests Crowder, Cochren &; Co, Tasha Layton,
Jon Reddick and Terrian March 5, 2023 in Van Andel Arena. Tickets online.

*Phil Wickham, Matt Maher and Leeland are featured on a “Singalong Tour” March 5, 2023 at Central
Wesleyan Church in Holland. Tickets online
